reality Surfing Playground
devised with PYL collective
Between 2021 and 2022, together with the PYL collective, we developed a participatory version of Reality Surfing performance, which proposes to the visitors to experience an alternative model of coexistence of people and inanimate entities.
in this presentation context, scenography of the performance shifts into a playground space, open to any kind of visitor — a child, an adult, a dog and its flea. everyone is invited to enter a space shared by humans and non-human entities, participate at Slime Cooking Workshop, speak to Talking Puddles and move around with Dancing Sponges. The setting shifts familiar environments into unstable, surreal worlds where the usual order of things gives way to free play.
